Terms & Conditions of Booking Millknock Farm Self-Catering Holiday Accommodation

A reservation made by telephone/email is deemed to be a provisional booking. We agree not to let these dates to another party until the €100 booking deposit has been paid in full. Only once the booking deposit has been received by us is your booking deemed to be confirmed. If the €100 booking deposit is not received, and you have not contacted us with a valid reason, within seven days of making a provisional booking, we reserve the right to let the agreed dates to another party without consulting you. By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.

The price of the accommodation includes the following: Bed linen (except cot sheets), towels, cleaning, heating, Wi-Fi, water. There is an extra charge for electricity.

Pets are strictly forbidden from entering the property.

Children are welcome, but they must be supervised by you at all times. Entry to the farmyard is strictly prohibited, as this is a working farm. Machine operators cannot be held responsible for unsupervised children. Do not enter fields where there are livestock present. One cot is provided for infants. If additional cots are required they must be supplied by you. Please note that cot sheets are not provided.

Smoking is NOT permitted in the property. Ashtrays are provided for use outside and must be used at all times. Deductions will be made from your security deposit for littering.

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would refund all monies paid to us by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

The property may not be occupied before 16:00hrs (4pm) on the rental start date unless prior permission has been obtained. You must notify us of your expected time of arrival at least 24 hours before the start of the rental period. The property should be vacated by 10:00hrs (10am) on the final day of the rental, unless prior permission has been obtained.

You agree both to keep the property clean and tidy and to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition on the final day with all furniture where located at the outset of the rental. A deduction will be made from your security deposit if additional cleaning is required.

You and all members of your party further agree not to use the property for any commercial purpose, including without limitation assigning or subletting it or using it for any business.

You are responsible for the actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to the property along with any additional costs that may result/ which are caused by you or anyone you allow in the property, and payment will be deducted from your security deposit to cover any such costs. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, all we ask is that you report any such incidents as they occur.

We reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion to refuse to hand over the keys to you, and/or to repossess the property, if we reasonably believe that any damage is likely to be caused, has been caused or is being caused by you or anyone you have allowed in the property.

The total number in the party should not exceed a total of 13 persons, including 1 infant, unless prior consent has been obtained. If this is disregarded we reserve the right to terminate the rental without notice in which case the booking will be treated as cancelled by you. No refund of any monies you have paid in respect of your booking will be made, full cancellation charges will apply. In this situation, we are not under any obligation to find any alternative accommodation for you.

You should allow us and any representative of ours (including workmen) access to the property at any reasonable time during your occupation of the property. In cases of emergency or where a problem needs remedying quickly and you cannot be contacted in time we are entitled to enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Privacy Policy

Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s) and/or in our personal manual filling system. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers – if you would prefer this not to happen then please let us know.

We will not share your details with any third party.
